My Calves Won't Grow - What Do I Do?



I know a lot of men who are just pissed off that they can't get their calves to grow like the rest of the their muscle groups. It has become frustrating for men not to have nice, balanced, muscular calves. And it just sucks when men see other guys who don't even work out, just have naturally great calves. How frustrating.



Most men have stubborn calves and it takes a lot of work just to get them to grow a fraction of an inch. But, I am here to give you some great pointers that will help you build your calves at a much faster rate. The rest is just pure genetics.

I am assuming that everyone is eating right and training appropriately here. Calves are a stubborn muscle group. And they have to be. Calves are very dense because they need to withstand an enormous amount of work load. Just figure how much we walk every single day. Imagine walking on your arms. Do you think you could do that? Of course not. Calves are made to be dense for this reason alone, which makes them incredibly hard to grow.

You can train your calves every single day and you will not overtrain them at all. Actually, you will need to train them every single day and throughout the day to make the facia tissue grow. By doing calves everyday and some calf raises in the shower or at home daily, you will cause the facia tissue to stretch, as you pump more and more blood into the calves. This will have your calves growing at a much faster rate.

I suggest you work your soleus one day, and then your gastrinemius the next day. And just keep alternating days. The seated calf raise works your soleus, while all your standing calf raises or any exercise where your leg is straight, works the gastrinemius.

I also suggest you do repetitions from as low as 6 reps to as high as 50 reps. You should alternate exercises and rep schemes frequently to confuse your calves and make them respond by some serious growth.

Another tip for serious calf explosion is stretching. You should stretch your calves as often as possible. This will also help stretch out the facia tissue that covers the calf muscle, making it easier for the calves to grow.

And last, massage. Massaging your calves will have a tremendous effect on your calves growing into cows. Whether it is your girlfriend or a professional massage therapist, massages are great for calf growth. In fact, many top bodybuilders have massages done not only on their calves, but their entire bodies.
